RAISED UP FIST ----------------------- Megyn Kelly: “Mr Trump, one of the things people loved about you is you speak your mind and you don’t use a politician’s filter however, that is not without its downsides. In particular, when it comes to women. You’ve called women you don’t like “at pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals. Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. You once told a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice It would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees.” Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as President and how will you answer the charge that you are part of the war on women?” Trump: “Because here’s the story…you ready?” “I moved on her like a bitch” “I did try and fuck her. She was married. Couldn’t get there.” “You wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful, It’s very sad.” “I’d look her right in that fat ugly face.” “She’s gotten a little bit large.” “She ate like a pig.” “I don’t want to sound too much like a chauvinist but…” “A person who’s flat chested is very hard to be a 10.” “The boob job is terrible. "A very low IQ person Maxine Waters." "Pelosi is a sick woman. She's got a lot of mental problems." "Is it offensive?" "Well, I actually think she's a hopeless case. I call her Pocahontas and that's an insult to Pocahontas." "Kamala, Kamala, Kamala. You know what, people don't like her. Nobody likes her. She could never be the first woman President. That would be an insult to our country." "I think she's a disgrace. Uh, I've tried to be nice to her. She's a nasty, vindictive, horrible person." “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women. I just start kissing them. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the pussy." Anderson Cooper: "You've bragged that you've sexually assaulted women. Do you understand that?" Donald Trump: "No I didn't say that at all. I don't think you understood what was said. This was locker room talk." Chris Wallace: “Women have come forward and said that you either groped them or kissed them without their consent. Why would they all make up these stories?" Donald Trump: "Because those stories are all totally false. I have to say that and I didn't even apologize to my wife. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election." Chris Matthews: Do you believe in punishment for abortion? Yes or no as a principle? Donald Trump: There has to be some form of punishment. Chris Matthews: For the woman? Donald Trump: Yeah. Donald Trump: Nobody respects women more than Donald Trump. That I can tell you. Nobody, nobody. Brooke Baldwin: “Stupid, loser, sit down, very nasty.” Those are the words that President Trump used speaking to 3 journalists. 3 black women. There is something so wrong with this. Step up to this Witness rage from a raised up fist Women are pissed And the majority are sick of this shit Toxic masculinity is more than a myth And the Grand Old Party Needs to cease & desist Check it! I represent 50% of our country And I resent the patriarchy misogyny Inequality and inequity of my gender As a feminist I’ll always defend HER Right to choose And continue the conversation Of discrimination By those who laid the foundation Before me Like Gloria Steinem in the seventies Female empowerment Doesn’t mean we’re the enemies Fuck pleasantries And this reality show Presidency Hardcore I rock the microphone intentionally Politically charged To debate and resonate I cultivate my message eloquent And don’t hesitate With a raised fist…resist! Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And always press forward Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And always press forward Jane Fonda: You’re a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot Donald Trump: Be nice! Listen and don’t get it twisted I’m not nice Ain’t in the mood to be fucked with tonight Gonna speak my mind Cuz I won’t be silent And I refuse to be abused or compliant Yes! A war on women exists And Donald Trump Is a fucking misogynist From targeting women of color in Congress To attacking every woman Standing up for progress Female journalists Who call out his bullshit Holding him accountable For Tweets & comments Black women seem to get it the worst Always disrespecting And berating them first With his sexist rhetoric and calling them “nasty” You’re not paying attention If you’re not angry I’m outraged So nevertheless I persist Resist, coming with a raised up fist With a raised fist…resist! Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And always press forward Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And always press forward Donald Trump: Quiet, quiet…quiet! Donald Trump: She’s shocked that I picked her. She’s like, in a state of shock. Cecilia Vega: No, I’m not. Thank you, Mr President… Donald Trump: That’s okay, I know you’re not thinking, you never do. Cecilia Vega: I’m sorry? Donald Trump: No, go ahead, go ahead Donald Trump: Sit down, I didn’t call you, I didn’t call you. Donald Trump: I watch her get up…you talk about somebody that’s a loser. She’s very…uh, nasty! Now when I drop the mic It hits the floor and I'm done But I’m here to let you know That I ain't the one The original bitch In control of my pitch Take a sip from my bitches brew And I’m flippin’ that switch quick So before you come for me better think Because my gun is my pen And my bullets are ink 55 and rhyme after rhyme in full effect Overdrive, in my prime Keeping punks in check Battle status is battle axe Blasphemous on the syntax As I attack these political hacks Like McConnell and Graham Who lie with impunity Hurt women and the LGBT community Generations of racists And conservative crime Taking over the Senate Trying to turn back time But enough is enough I’m off the cuff no assist Coming with a raised up fist With a raised fist…resist! Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And always press forward Be steady. Stay focused. Remember your purpose. And always press forward Donald Trump: When you’re in the White House, this is a very sacred place to be. This is a very special place. You have to treat the White House with respect. You have to treat the Presidency with respect. Brooke Baldwin: These women have conducted themselves with the utmost respect. The person who apparently has none…THE PRESIDENT.

America's exhausted being held hostage Vote them out, Vote them out! Time to acknowledge Trump is caustic Mika Brzezinski: None dare call it treason but perhaps one day, they will. White House Reporter: Mr President will you commit to making sure there is a peaceful transferal of power after the election? Donald Trump: Well, we're gonna have to see what happens. Get rid of the ballots and you'll have a very peaceful....there won't be a transfer frankly, there will be a continuation. --- I would like to promise and pledge to all of the people of the United States...that I will totally accept the results of this great and historic Presidential election....IF I WIN.

FISTFUL OF STEEL --------------------------- Huh! Check it! Uh! Silence, something about silence makes me sick Cause silence can be violent sorta like a slit wrist If the vibe was suicide, then you would push the button But if ya bowin' down, then let me do the cuttin' Some speak the sounds but speak in silent voices Like radio is silent though it fills the air with noises Transmissions bring submission as ya mold to the unreal And this woman grips the microphone with a fistful of steel Yeah…. This woman grips the microphone with a fistful of steel with a fistful of steel Cause I know the power of the question With a fistful of steel With a fistful of steel And I won't stop Cause I know the power of the question It's time to flow like the fluid in ya veins If ya will it, I will spill it and ya out just as quick as ya came Not a silent one but a defiant one Never a normal one… I’m like the bastard son With the visions of the move… vocals not to soothe But to ignite and put in flight my sense of militance Groovin', playin' that game called survival The status, the elite, the enemy, the rival The silent sheep slippin', riffin', trippin' (pause) Give you a glimpse of the reality I'm grippin' Steppin' into the jam and slammin' like Zack for real This woman grips the microphone with a fistful of steel Yeah…. This woman grips the microphone with a fistful of steel With a fistful of steel Cause I know the power of the question With a fistful of steel With a fistful of steel And I won't stop Cause I know the power of the question Uh shit! And I won't stop… Cause I know the power of the question And if the vibe was suicide Then you would push da button But if ya bowin' down Then let me do the cuttin' Yeah Come on A .44 full of bullets Face full of pale Eyes full of empty A stare full of nails The roulette ball Rolls along on the wheel A mind full of fire And a fistful of steel And if the vibe was suicide then you would push the button But if ya bowin' down Then let me do the cuttin' Yeah With a fistful of steel Uh Come on Uh With a fistful of steel Uh

I’M A WOMAN ------------------ We Are The Majority Vote! Not My President! Not My President! Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Kavanaugh Has Got To Go! Times Up! Times Up! Times Up! Times Up! We Believe Survivors! Donald Trump Is A Motherfucking Liar! Black Live Matter! Black Lives Matter! My Body, My Choice! Yes We Can! Yes We Can! 1950's Announcer: Here’s to the ladies! The fair and the weak. Fair they are, we’ll all admit but who dares call them weak? Our modern girls play as hard and with as much vitality and stamina as any man. How do they do it? Where do they find all that energy? I can rock a mean rhyme And scream like a queen at the same time Shoot my gift to a riff and persist To shift the paradigm I can hold up my fist And demand equality for my kind Stand in a line, march with a sign And give em a piece of my mind Cause I'm a WOMAN... yeah W-O-M-A-N (ay, yo) I'll say it again (she was a force to be reckoned with) I can get pissed, resist and insist that you give me respect Raise my voice pro-choice, protest, protect women’s rights and elect I can rage and engage, advocate, it don't matter my age or my weight Pick up the mic, like lightening I strike And win the whole goddamn debate Cause I'm a woman...yeah W-O-M-A-N (ay, yo) I'll say it again (she was a force to be reckoned with) If you talk bad about me you know that you just might get hexed If you try and lie on me you know that you just might get checked If you step to me vexed I suggest that you don't step alone Yeah I'm a bad bitch, the wicked old witch So beware the crone I can be nasty But if you grab me by the "P" you'll get hit I can be nice, do no harm But I take no shit I can support my sisters White, brown and black Speak truth to power, empower The future is female And we won't go back Cause I'm a woman ...yeah W-O-M-A-N (ay, yo) I'll say it again! Cause I'm a woman... yeah W-O-M-A-N (ay, yo) I'll say it again! "One career all females have in common...being a woman" - Bette Davis I’m a woman yeah I said it So let’s get to the point Motherfuck the patriarchy Cause I’m housin' the joint A feminist in full effect Fully loaded with intellect Not spitting bullshit Or politically correct I manifest to progress But I refuse to repent Against conservative views Fox News and what they represent The racist, evangelical right With their rifles Hypocritical pro-lifers Always pushing their Bibles Narcissistic sexist bigots, Unfit and complicit Chauvinistic, ill-equipped Ignorant and illicit From Politicians to Christians It’s so easy to notice The anti-woman rhetoric From preachers to POTUS Misogynistically vicious So we stay strong and persistent And say respect our existence Or expect resistance! John Waters & Iggy Pop: And she’s still mad. That’s a wonderful performance. Every time you think she’s…it’s over now…She gets pissed again! She’s back! I know...And it’s great! Her diction is very, very good. That’s not easy. You understand everything she has to say.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I'm proud to debut my new album "FEMINENERGY" ♀⚡
My October surprise! A radical, liberal fuck you to Donald Trump and my gift to you & 2020!

12 socially conscious, up-to-the-minute, politically reflective, hardcore tracks of hip hop, rock & resistance with a raised up fist. Reclaiming my time, speaking my mind with a vengeance and calling for a referendum on this unfit, derelict president. This is a FREE DOWNLOAD and my gift to YOU however, if you would like to make a donation in the name of ART, I thank you for the continued support. ♡ Respect to the architects and those I sampled. Once again, you have inspired me and I just wanted to show my love for YOU.

S/O to the awesome turntable stylings of DJ GrandMixer GMS who rocked the old school scratching on "Caution" & "Truth Bomb" my song dedicated to legacies & good trouble of Civil Rights icon John Lewis and the Notorious RBG who both sadly passed away this year. S/O to the one and only Paul Catten (Dead Sheeran, Barrabus, Murder One, Lazarus Blackstar, Medulla Nocte) in the U.K. who joins me on vocals for our cover of the infamous Afrika Bambaataa & John Lydon classic "World Destruction" from 1984 to 2020 kaboom! .

And lastly, a very special thank you to my husband and musical partner of 20 years, Mick Murphy ❤️ who helped me to bring my ideas and this album to life. After 4 long years of Trump it was a cathartic experience to say the least. Mick played live drums, bass, guitar, engineered, mixed and co-produced my new album with me. From heavy metal to hip hop Mick is a true master of heaviosity and he never ceases to amaze me.

30 years after "The Power of a Woman" debuted on Eazy E's Comptown Records label in 1990, the ruthless bitch is back! "Feminenergy" is an unapologetic radical left, feminist follow up to "Vintage Curses" from 2015 while taking aim at the divisive rhetoric and propaganda being pushed by this chaos presidency circus attempting to turn our democracy into a dictatorship.

A stark reminder that we've had 4 years of protests against white supremacy, police brutality, fear mongering, racism and misogyny with a corrupt, incompetent, lying, reality TV show criminal in the White House, leaving us with over 220,000 Americans dead and millions infected from Covid 19 including this negligent, super-spreading President.

This election is about so much more than policies. The soul of America is on the ballot. In the age of Trump, telling the truth is a revolutionary act and so is voting. 2 weeks from today we the people have the power to take back our White House. On November 3rd, let's send a clear message to this outdated patriarchy. We've had enough of his American carnage and the complicit Republican party.

Wear your mask, wash your hands, watch your distance and VOTE HIM OUT! Hell hath no fury like a nasty woman.

❤️😷🎤✊💋

My Ruin frontwoman Tairrie B taps into her rebel spirit to unleash as tidal wave of Feminenergy. 4/5 - Sam Law | Kerrang Magazine

www.kerrang.com/reviews/album-review-tairrie-b-feminenergy

‘The human race is becoming a disgrace,’ seethes World Destruction, Feminenrgy’s righteous opening reinvention of the Afrika Bambaataa/John Lydon classic. ‘Police brutality and Covid on the rise / Not giving a damn about the people they despise…’ It’s been a while since we heard from Tairrie B, but her finger’s still on the pulse. Unleashing both barrels on the American right – white supremacists, narrow-minded chauvinists, Covidiots and, repeatedly, Donald Trump himself – this ferocious fourth solo LP finds the My Ruin vocalist on her sharpest form in years. Dropped as a free download to mark both the upcoming Presidential Election and the 30th anniversary of Tairrie’s landmark 1990 release Power Of A Woman (the first widely-distributed album by a white, female rapper), it is a rich, politicised return to her hip-hop roots that’s overloaded with metal edge and punk energy.

There’s a remarkable flow, even as its twelve tracks shapeshift with righteous energy. Hardcore and KNXVLN sound like ’80s throwbacks, with slick rhymes, soul samples and fragments of electric riffage, while the whole first two minutes of Raised Up Fist are comprised of tightly-woven voice samples of some of The Donald’s most reprehensible remarks about women before the track unspools in a venomous rage. Nasty Woman is an infectious tangle of springy synths and looped vocals. Referendum is a riff-fuelled, near six-minute attack that comes on like Tairrie’s take on Rage Against The Machine before Fistful Of Steel sees her cover the Los Angeles rap-rock legends directly.

Her vision is rounded-out by a handful of collaborators. The lurching pseudo-gangster-rap of Caution and Truth Bomb – a cut dedicated to Atlanta civil rights icon John Lewis and “The Notorious RBG” Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg – is enlivened by the inspired turntable scratching of GrandMixer GMS, while Lazarus Blackstar vocalist Paul Catten lends his pipes to the aforementioned World Destruction. Most notably, Tairrie’s husband and My Ruin co-conspirator Mick Murphy layers on the drums, bass and guitar as well as mixing and engineering a gloriously retrofied sound throughout.

Crucially, though, Tairrie herself is never not front-and-centre. And, by the time we get to the closing MM ResistMix 2020 re-imagining of her own 2019 banger I’m A Woman (dedicated to the “reSISTERS” and crusaders for female empowerment), it’s impossible not to feel the same indignation and defiance that’s driven the irrepressible firebrand this far. A Feminenergy that anyone can feel.

Tairrie B Returns With A Call To Arms on Feminenergy!

rockandrollfables.com/tairrie-b-returns-with-a-call-to-arms-on-feminenergy/

2020 is a garbage year. We can all agree on that, yeah? One of the shining lights, at least in my little corner of the universe, has been the abundance of surprise releases in the entertainment industry. Especially in music. Just recently saw eclectic Electronic impresario Tom Vek (Check it here) and the legendary Mina Caputo (Listen here) both release new records and just before that was Feminenergy by former Manhole/My Ruin/Tura Satana front person extraordinaire Tairrie B. And it too owns.

Those expecting a modern aggro Metal massacre might wanna look away but if you’ve followed Tairrie B’s rise from the start then this back-to-basics yet still incendiary masterpiece is required listening. And if you voted for 45 (Personally, I refuse to say or print his name) or subscribe to any of the rhetoric spewed by this current administration then this DEFINITELY is not the album for you.

Still here? Let’s dive in then, shall we?

At its’ best, Feminenergy is an energized rallying cry and at its’ worst…..well, that’s the thing. There is no worst when talking about Tairrie B’s latest and, dare I say, greatest. From the moment “World Destruction” lands, it taps into the spirit of current sonic warriors like Pussy Riot or War On Women and in regards to Ms. B, digs deep into her Hip-Hop roots and hints at what’s to come later within.

“Hardcore” is the sickest old-school Tairrie B rap anthem but made in the modern era. That is, until “KNXVLN” drops with sicker rhymes, sicker riffs and sicker beats. Ms. B’s partner-in-crime and partner-in-life Mick Murphy handles the sonic boom (Guitars, bass, and drums) throughout Feminenergy, building a fantastical world that harnesses the Hip-Hop of the early ’90’s while tackling modern issues.

Later, “The Coldest” is probably the closest you’ll get to “old school” Tairrie B and those familiar with My Ruin/Tura Satana/Manhole will surely perk up at the start before the track takes a turn issuing what can only be described as a triumphant warning mixing samples of Flavor Flav with Foreigner and a sinister bass hum bringing to mind Digital Underground.

“Truth Bomb” is an ode to fallen modern leaders (RBG, John Lewis) while “American Carnage” is another vicious diatribe against the current “leaders” and is the Hip-Hop equivalent to Al Jourgensen’s Industrial Metal takedown of the Bush administration with Ministry in the mid-’00’s.

“Fistful Of Steel” is another track proving just how potent and relevant Ms. B still is behind the mic with this kind of early Rage Against The Machine magic permeating from Murphy’s riffs and bass bounce. Closing with a retread of “I’m A Woman”, the “MM Resistmix 2020” is another reminder of the fight that still rages on and the fire and passion that still rages on within Tairrie B.

Tairrie B’s Feminenergy, a timely album, a lot more than just an angry album, probably her best album yet. Now please just vote him out…

organthing.com/2020/10/22/organ-thing-tairrie-bs-feminenergy-a-timely-album-a-lot-more-than-just-an-angry-album-probably-her-best-album-yet-now-please-just-vote-him-out

"Well you kind of knew Tairrie B wouldn’t be taking things quietly in the run up to what surely must be the most important US election ever, you kind of knew she wasn’t just going going to sit at home and just quietly go out to vote… “Ladies & Gentlemen, I’m proud to debut my new album and the birth of “Feminenergy” My October surprise and radical, liberal baby!” shouted Tairrie B – well she didn’t shout it, she typed it but hey, pretty sure she typed it in a loud and shouty kind of way, I kind of imagine Tairrie B is not the kind of person who types quietly and right now, more than ever, she has a great long list of things to be typing-angry about. Not that her new album is just an angry shout fest, no no no, Feminenergy is far more than just an angry shout fest.

Feminenergy is Tairrie B going back to her crunchy punchy hip hop roots, an album delivered with that metallic swipe you’d expect but this lady has history, this in many ways is back to where she started, back to where she started her fight, this is Tairrie reaching back to her days before Manhole – there’s no bandwagon jumping here, she is (and always has been) the very real deal.

Got to love that musical punch, that relentless drive, ain’t no stopping her, she hasn’t mellowed, well how could she with all that’s going on? Actually Tairrie B never really left her roots behind, her hip hop has always been there along with her metal and her anger – well no, anger isn’t quite right, attitude, positive attitude, Tairrie B has always had the right attitude, she’s still the same person we first met in a backstreet London pub and interviewed that very first time before that first Manhole album – her first words were kind of confrontational, straight away, there it was, that don’t you dare even think of messing with me attitude, loved her from day one.

“Wear your mask, wash your hands and VOTE HIM OUT!”, you do kind of get the idea she doesn’t like Trump and his men that much, well how the hell could she? How the hell could anyone? Leader of the free world? No thank you, please vote him out America. The rest of us are kind of powerless, the rest of us are begging you to please just dump him.

So yes, Feminenergy is Tairrie B in full effect, this is Tairrie B as journalist, as commentator, she always has been really but this is her dialing it all up to the max, and no, this is not just some hollow vote him out slogan shouting shallowness, this is the real angry deal, she doesn’t deal in silence, she’s always been about more than the obvious slogan.

And yes, she is a woman, listen to her sing it without finding a smile right there on your face, I defy you, right there in the middle of your boat race, you can’t, brilliant – whatever it is there is always a positive slice underneath it all – didn’t Chuck D say just the other day that the world was going to go nowhere good until at least 60% of it is rum by women? Something about men having had their time and their chance and look at the mess we men have made of it? He said something like that.

Hey look, Tairrie has a great back catalogue, a long long history, she’s made some excellent albums, like she says herself, she’s the hardest, she’s an artist, she knows where the heart is and this just might be the best album she’s ever made. She’s nasty, she keeps telling us how nasty she is as she baits Trump, as she bait the whole damn system.

And yes, it is all about the words and the anger and the right here, right now and the election and it is all about what she’s saying but musically, in terms of the hip hop and motion of it all, the thump, the sound and the whole thing, before we even get to the words and the sentiment, before we get to that, before we even start to listen to what she’s saying, this is one of her strongest albums yet, this is the LA Woman and her friends at their best, nice one Tairrie B, Love it, love the hope in it, good to hear Medulla Nocte/Dead Sheeran‘s Paul Catten getting there with a word or two as well. Excellent album, brilliantly timed, now please just dump him, god knows what this is going to sound like afterwards if you don’t, for the sake of this album at least, vote him out.
